The Gnome and Ten Wishes
Nilsson the Gnome has a problem. His boat was destroyed by an angry sky, and he needs to build a new one.
Over the course of one day, to get the help and materials he needs, he meets and makes deals with ten different characters. In return, he offers each one a wish.
Many of the characters who Nilsson meets will be familiar to the reader as they come from a variety of fairy tales, Greek mythology and classics, and legends.
Much of the humor in the story comes from Nilsson’s cleverness. He has a knack for reading people and knowing how to choose words that almost tricks them into being agreeable. Since each character is different, he uses a different strategy with each one!

The Legend of the Kalumies (coming soon)
Have you ever heard the fairy tale about The Elves and the Shoemaker? Here is a modern-day twist in which instead of elves, there are new legendary creatures known as the Kalumies! And instead of providing secret, mysterious help for making shoes, they provide help for a different reason. But, no one has ever seen them, so the question remains: Is the Legend of the Kalumies real?
Dr. Ineptus, a scientist who, like his name, is somewhat inept, thinks so, and he is determined to prove it by running science experiments in his house on the coast of Alaska. When those experiments produce mysterious results, the three homeschooled kids next door decide to investigate the mystery. As they look for clues, they discover another question: Is there always a scientific explanation for everything?
